Job summary

Long-term Healthcare Center is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to coordinate and maintain staffing levels for all nursing departments, ensuring quality resident care in line with federal, state, and facility guidelines. The role involves scheduling, adjustments, and daily communication with nursing staff to support efficient operations.

You will prepare weekly and daily schedules for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, manage call-outs and agency staff, and monitor overtime while keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience with scheduling healthcare staff is preferred.
• Familiarity with long-term care regulations is helpful.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain weekly and daily nursing staff schedules (RNs, LPNs, CNAs).
• Ensure adequate staffing coverage for all shifts in compliance with state regulations and facility needs.
• Manage call-outs, replacements, and last-minute staffing changes.
• Coordinate per diem, part-time, and agency staff as needed.
• Monitor overtime to minimize labor costs.
• Maintain accurate staffing records, attendance logs, and timekeeping data.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to adjust staffing based on census and acuity.
