Job summary

Ciena Healthcare in Ohio is seeking a Staffing Coordinator for The Laurels of Chagrin Falls to organize nursing staffing and schedules in compliance with state and federal standards.

You will manage RN/LPN and CNA rosters, monitor overtime, maintain rosters, prepare weekly reports, and support Nursing Management with clerical duties; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K with matching, life insurance, tuition and student loan reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years office administrative experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares schedule for the nursing department by scheduling all Licensed Nurses (RN/LPN) and CNAs to ensure staffing ratios.
• Monitor overtime and make daily staffing adjustments according to census needs.
• Maintain daily roster sheets for each shift.
• Daily review of previous day’s time clock punches with schedules.
• Seek supervisor approval(s) for exemptions, missing punches, absences, etc.
• Retrieve, organize and store all staffing related forms (sign-in sheets, assignment sheets, schedules, etc).
• Complete weekly schedule report and provide to corporate.
• Completes daily staffing and posts as required.
• Maintain state mandated ratios pertaining to staffing and ensure adequate RN coverage.
