Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Muskegon, MI is seeking a full-time nurse supervisor to coordinate staffing for inpatient units and the Emergency Department. The role requires flexibility with rotating 5a-2p and 2p-11p shifts and delivering supervision around the clock.

You will maintain a 24/7 staffing schedule, support nursing leadership, and ensure coverage according to patient needs while upholding the hospital's mission and values. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; post-secondary business education desirable.
• Familiarity with a computer information system.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
• Able to use tact, discretion and persuasiveness in relationship with others.
• Demonstrates ability to work in an environment that promotes accountability, responsibility and collegiality.
• Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral. Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives.
• Uses problem-solving techniques.
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of MHM.
