Job summary
Unitek Learning is seeking a Clinical/Skills Lab Instructor to join our team for PN and BSN programs in partnership with Presbyterian Health Systems. The role involves delivering Sim/Skills Lab and clinical site education to students at the Workforce Development Program site, with scheduling on Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays.
You will apply adult learning principles, supervise clinical experiences, and evaluate student performance within established nursing curricula.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid, unencumbered nursing license in the state.
- Eligible for Board approval as Instructor in Medical-Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Community Health, or Geriatrics.
- Minimum four years’ RN direct patient care experience, with recent practice.
- One-year teaching experience in nursing or related coursework preferred.
- Expertise in Mental Health, Medical-Surgical, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, L&D, Community Health, and/or Critical Care.
Responsibilities
- Provide Sim/Skills Lab and/or Clinical site education.
- Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in assigned facilities.
- Evaluate student performance against clinical outcomes.
- Provide timely feedback after observations.
- Maintain accurate attendance and skills check-off records; assist data collection.
