Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Per Diem Clinical/Skills Lab Faculty to educate nursing students at the Workforce Development Program site in collaboration with Trinity Health. The role involves Skills Lab and clinical teaching across assigned rotations, with days/evenings/weekends as needed.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing education or administration, meets nursing faculty requirements, and has current clinical teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered licensure in the state where you teach.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with coursework in nursing education/administration.
• Able to meet faculty requirements set by the Board of Nursing.
• Experience in teaching, nursing labs, and clinical settings.
• Minimum four years’ RN direct patient care experience within last five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide Skills Lab and/or Clinical site education to students per curriculum and faculty expertise.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in health care facilities.
• Evaluate student performance against clinical learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate attendance, skill check-off forms, and program data.
• Observe, instruct, and evaluate students using best methods; provide timely feedback.
