Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Full Time Clinical/Skills/Sim Lab Faculty to join our team in conjunction with Presbyterian Health Systems. You will provide Skills Lab and/or Clinical site education to students in the Workforce Development Program.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree in nursing/education/administration, a BSN, and have at least four years of RN experience with direct patient care. Teaching experience and active licensure required; opportunities to teach across

Qualifications

• Hours vary based on clinical rotation and/or skills lab course.
• Plan and supervises student clinical experience in assigned health care facilities.
• Evaluates student performance in relation to clinical learning outcomes as per policy.
• Provide feedback of clinical performance after observation.
• Maintains accurate clinical and/or skills lab attendance and records.
• Ensure clinical assignments meet student and facility needs.
• Determines best method to observe, instruct, and evaluate students.
• Demonstrates willingness to use online activities to enhance course content.
• Attends faculty meetings and participates in committees as needed.
• Holds a valid, unencumbered nursing license and can be approved as Instructor for Medical‑Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Community Health, or Geriatrics.
• Minimum four years’ RN experience with direct patient care in last five years.
• Experience teaching nursing courses preferred; CCR 1420(c) competency.
• Expertise in Mental Health, Medical‑Surgical, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, L&D, Community Health, or Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Participate in committee activities; attend faculty meetings.
• Provide access to students via office hours or electronic communication.
