Job summary

Unitek Learning seeks a nursing faculty member to deliver instruction and evaluate student performance across clinicals, labs and simulations. You will supervise, mentor, and support students, maintaining open communication via email and conferences.

The role requires meeting all class and clinical commitments and ensuring a safe, orderly learning environment. Qualified candidates hold an MSN, current RN licensure, and demonstrate strong teaching skills, including adult learning principles and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to mentor nursing students and guide learning outcomes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse learners.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and teaching strategies.
• Experience with online teaching and clinical instruction (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instruction and evaluate student learning in clinicals, labs, or SCEs per course outlines.
• Supervise and debrief students in lab, clinical, and clinical simulations.
• Maintain accessible communication with students via email, phone, or conferences.
• Schedule classes and clinical hours; inform leadership if meetings cannot be attended.
• Ensure classrooms, labs, and facilities are maintained and orderly.
• Collaborate with colleagues on exams and final course evaluations.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in healthcare facilities.
• Evaluate student performance against learning outcomes and FERPA rules.
