Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing is required.
• Professional nurse licensure is required.
• Clinical RN with a minimum of two years direct patient care experience and at least one year in the teaching field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor, role model and facilitator for students.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and for the teaching/learning process.
• Apply teaching skills to the assigned schedule.
• Participate in assessment activities of courses and curricula.
• Contribute to improvement of class materials and syllabi.
• Utilize diverse teaching methodologies to meet learning outcomes.
• Maintain scholarly activities and professional growth.
• Support student success through innovative technologies and resources.
• Clarify clinical expectations and supervise students in clinical facilities.
