Montgomery College is seeking a Nursing Simulation Coordinator to lead the simulation program within the Nursing Department. The role includes developing scenarios, coordinating faculty and students, and ensuring high-fidelity simulations align with curriculum standards.

The incumbent will oversee the simulation suite, manage budgets, track outcomes, and mentor staff. A Master's in Nursing and several years of nursing and instructional design experience are required, with telework options

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing required.
Five years of acute care medical-surgical nursing experience required.
Three years teaching experience in nursing theory, clinical, or campus lab settings required.
Three years of instructional design experience preferred.
Experience in simulation pedagogy required.
Current CPR-BLS certification and CHSE preferred.
RN license eligibility in MD/DC required.

Responsibilities

Oversee the simulation suite to provide a safe environment matching clinical settings.
Develop, implement, and coordinate the simulation component of the nursing program.
Promote teaching, learning, and evaluation using simulations; collaborate with faculty.
Analyze instructional needs and revise simulation-based curricula and scenarios.
Supervise staff, assign workloads, conduct evaluations, and support professional development.
Track supplies, participation, and outcomes; report data for program improvement.
Orient new nursing and health science faculty and staff to simulation activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
