Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking an experienced Nursing Services Supervisor to oversee nursing operations for residents, ensuring compliance with physician orders and regulatory standards. The role includes 24-hour supervision, staff interpretation of policies, and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality care.

The successful candidate will hold an RN license in the state, possess an Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing, and have substantial supervisory experience in long-term or acute

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Nursing required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans for total resident care in compliance with physician orders, regulations, and facility policies.
• Interpret and enforce policies to nursing staff and monitor practice and implementation.
• Participate in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents before admission.
• Attend daily and weekly management meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or complaints.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
