Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking an RN to oversee nursing services, ensuring compliance with physician orders and regulatory standards. The role includes 24-hour supervision, directing the Nursing Department, and maintaining quality of care across resident needs.

The position requires an active RN license in the state practiced, a qualifying nursing degree (Assoc. or Bachelors), and at least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience. Experience in long-term or acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Minimum 2 years nursing supervisory experience; 5 years in long-term or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans for the total care of each resident in line with physician orders, regulations and policies.
• Communicate and interpret policies and procedures to nursing staff and monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents.
• Attend daily and weekly management meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel or concerns.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
