Job summary

Sweetwater Care seeks an experienced RN or LPN to lead Nursing Services on-site. You will supervise clinical operations, ensure quality care per physicians' orders, and implement policies with the Director of Nursing.

Requirements include current licensure in the state, an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and 2+ years of supervisory experience in long-term or acute care. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for daily resident care.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN in the state of practice.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total care plans compliant with physician orders and regulations.
• Interpret and monitor policies and procedures for nursing staff.
• Participate in admissions decisions and evaluate prospective residents.
• Attend management meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or concerns.
• Ensure compassionate, quality care with adequate staff coverage and clean, safe environments.
• In absence of the Director of Nursing, assume responsibility for clinical operations.
