Job summary

Sweetwater Care in California seeks an experienced Nursing Services Administrator to oversee 24-hour Nursing Services and ensure quality care in line with physician orders and state regulations.

The role requires an active RN license, an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and supervisory experience in long-term or acute care. You will coordinate resident care plans and lead a multidisciplinary team in a compliant, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school (AS/BS) is required.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory nursing experience in long-term or acute care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans for total resident care per physician orders and policies.
• Interpret and enforce policies to nursing staff and monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and assess prospective residents when applicable.
• Attend daily/weekly management meetings to discuss resident status and census changes.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
