Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a RN Nurse Manager to oversee the Nursing Services department, ensuring 24-hour supervision and adherence to physician orders and regulatory standards. The role directs the nursing team to maintain quality care and assumes center operations in the administrator's absence.

The position requires active RN licensure in the state, an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and prior supervisory experience in long-term or acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the practicing state.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assumes ultimate responsibility for coordinating care plans per physician orders and regulations.
• Communicates and interprets policies to nursing staff, monitors practices.
• Participates in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents.
• Participates in management meetings to discuss resident status, census, personnel, or complaints.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.
