Job summary

Sweetwater Care seeks an experienced Director of Nursing to oversee nursing services, ensuring quality care and 24-hour supervision in accordance with federal, state, and facility standards. The role directs the Nursing Department and, in the administrator's absence, assumes center operations.

The ideal candidate is a Montana-licensed RN with an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least two years of supervisory experience, plus strong regulatory knowledge and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school required.
• Two years nursing supervisory experience required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates plans for total resident care in line with physician orders, regulations, and policies.
• Communicates and interprets policies to nursing staff and monitors practices.
• Participates in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents.
• Participates in management meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or complaints.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
