Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Colorado is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to oversee nursing services and supervise day-to-day clinical operations in partnership with the Director of Nursing. You will coordinate resident care plans, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and lead the nursing team to deliver compassionate quality care 24/7.

The position requires a valid RN/LPN license in Colorado, an associate or bachelor degree, and at least 2 years

Qualifications

• Current RN/LPN license in the state of practice.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans for total care of each resident per physician orders and policies.
• Communicate and interpret policies to nursing staff; monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents.
• Lead daily/weekly management discussions on resident status and staffing.
• Ensure compassionate quality care with adequate staff coverage and clean, safe environments.
