Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for administration and management of Nursing Services. The role oversees 24-hour supervision and directs the Nursing Department to maintain care quality per federal, state, and company standards.

The incumbent will operate under the Nurse Practice Act and assume center operations in the Administrator's absence. The position conducts nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assumes ultimate responsibility for coordinating plans for total resident care per physician orders and policies.
• Communicates and interprets policies to nursing staff and monitors practices.
• Participates in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents.
• Participates in management meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or complaints.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.
