Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse supervisor to oversee the Nursing Services department, ensuring 24-hour supervision and adherence to physician orders and regulatory standards. The role includes directing the nursing staff, conducting the nursing process, and maintaining quality of care within the Facility and Federal/State guidelines.

The candidate should have an active RN license and an ADN or BSN, with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state where practiced.
• Minimum 2 years nursing supervisory experience.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total care plans for each resident in line with physician orders and regulatory standards.
• Interpret and communicate nursing policies and procedures to staff; monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and assess prospective residents when needed.
• Attend daily and weekly management meetings to discuss resident status and operational issues.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
