Qualifications

• RN license current and unrestricted in practicing state.
• Three years of supervisory experience in health care.
• Knowledge of long-term care laws and guidelines.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning and directing nursing operations.
• Interpret and communicate policies to nursing staff.
• Participate in admissions decisions and management meetings.
• Oversee staffing, budget, and infection control programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve care quality.
• Recruit, hire and terminate nursing personnel as indicated.
• Conduct rounds and supervise in-service education for staff.
