Job summary

Genesis, Oceanside's Hiring Manager for Scheduling & Payroll, is seeking a full-time manager to oversee nursing center scheduling and payroll operations. The role requires coordinating staff, improving labor costs, and ensuring adequate coverage for patient care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years' experience in scheduling or payroll, preferably healthcare or long-term care.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet with employees on evening and night shift.
• Must be willing to travel as necessary.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English to ensure safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Schedule nursing center employees and obtain supplemental staffing for high-quality care.
• Control labor spend to minimize overtime and agency use through scheduling strategies.
• Ensure hours/patient day are at budgeted levels and make schedule changes accordingly.
• Orient new employees to Labor Management Policy and scheduling expectations.
