Job summary

Oceanside is hiring a Manager, Scheduling & Payroll to lead nursing center scheduling and staffing. The role ensures cost-effective labor management, oversees scheduling policies, and coordinates with department heads for efficient coverage.

The position requires a healthcare or related degree or substantial scheduling/payroll experience, with willingness to travel and work flexible hours. Sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred, or 5+ years' scheduling/payroll experience in healthcare.
• Willingness to work flexible hours; travel as necessary; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule nursing center employees and obtain supplemental staffing to provide high quality care.
• Serve as the nursing center contact for Department Heads and Supervisors in labor management policy and processes.
• Control Nursing Department labor spend to minimize overtime and agency usage through scheduling strategies.
• Ensure hours per patient day are at budgeted level and adjust schedules accordingly.
