The Shores of Lake Phalen, a Sonida Senior Living community in Maplewood, MN, is seeking a Nursing Scheduling Coordinator to support the Wellness Director and clinical team with staffing and policy administration.

You will use SmartLinx and other tools to coordinate scheduling, manage PTO, recruit staff, and ensure consistent, compassionate care across shifts. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth; location-based eligibility applies.

Qualifications

• Two-years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures in support of the Wellness Director and clinical team.
• Ensures compassionate, quality care with adequate services and staff coverage; uses SmartLinx for scheduling.
• Manages PTO requests for clinical staff and secures approval from the Wellness Director.
• Assists with implementation and ensures all clinical employees follow policies, including benefit enrollment during orientation.
• Actively engages in recruitment and staffing to attract and retain staff.
• Responsibilities and qualifications could vary per state requirement.

Nursing Scheduling Coordinator Responsibilities Include

• Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures in support of the Wellness Director and clinical team.
• Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care evidenced by adequate services and staff coverage for the facility, this includes using the SmartLinx app for appropriate scheduling of current, active employees.
• Manages PTO requests for clinical staff and ensures time is approved by Wellness Director to support resident care scheduling.
• Assists with implementation and assures all clinical employees are following Company policies and procedures, and assist administering, coordinating and directing all activities in accordance with the policies and procedures, including benefit enrollment during orientation.
• Actively engage in recruitment and staffing activities to attract and retain staff in the community.
• Responsibilities and qualifications could vary per state requirement.
