Job summary

Apploi in Morris, IL is seeking a Scheduler/Central Supply in our nursing facility. You will maintain schedules for CNAs, RNs, and LPNs, coordinate staffing to meet regulatory requirements, and communicate nursing staff concerns.

You will also handle ordering and stocking of medical supplies, manage time records, and support transport scheduling for residents. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high-school diploma or equivalent.
• Scheduling experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule for CNAs and Nurses (RNs and LPNs).
• Reduce overtime in the nursing department in coordination with DON/ADON and HR.
• Assist in hiring CNAs and Nurses and communicate with DON/ADON and HR.
• Maintain accurate time records; monitor attendance (Call-Offs, Tardies, No Shows).
• Order and stock medical supplies for the facility.
• Ensure nurses stations are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Organize nurse stations weekly.
• Organize rented equipment and return when not in use.
• Assist with resident scheduling and escort transport needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
