Job summary

Bayview Health Care in Waterford, under Civita Health Care Systems, is hiring a Nursing Scheduler for a full-time 8a-4p role. The position supports nursing staffing to align with budgets, with a 2-4 week advance schedule posting and ADP payroll updates on a daily/weekly basis.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma and clerical experience; CNAs are welcome though not required. Proficiency in Word/Excel is expected with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year clerical experience; scheduling with on-the-job training.
• CNA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prioritize, and coordinate nursing staff schedules.
• Develop and maintain a master schedule at all times.
• Post staffing schedule 2-4 weeks in advance, minimum.
• Identify staffing problems and communicate solutions to DNS/Administrator.
• Update payroll in ADP daily/weekly for Corporate Bookkeeper.
• Maintain daily staffing sheets and DPH required staff sheet.
• Seek opportunities to fill open positions minimizing overtime.
• Develop positive relationships with nursing staff.
