Job summary

Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a detail-oriented Nursing Scheduler to maintain staffing levels within budget and protocol. You will organize, coordinate, and post master schedules 2–4 weeks in advance while resolving staffing issues and communicating with leadership.

The role requires clerical experience, scheduling training, and strong English skills. CNA is preferred but not required, with opportunities for payroll support and collaboration with the administrative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of clerical experience.
• On-the-job scheduling training provided.
• CNA preferred but not required.
• Must read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prioritize, and coordinate all nursing staff schedules.
• Develop and utilize a master schedule at all times.
• Post staffing schedules 2–4 weeks in advance, minimum.
• Identify staffing problems and communicate with DNS/Administrator.
• Update and prepare payroll in ADP for Corporate Bookkeeper daily/weekly.
• Maintain daily staffing sheets and DPH staff sheet.
• Seek opportunities to fill open positions with minimal overtime.
• Develop positive relationships with nursing department.
