Job summary

Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking an experienced Nursing Scheduler to manage staffing in the nursing department, maintain a master schedule, and post schedules 2–4 weeks in advance. You will also coordinate payroll data in ADP and liaise with DNS/Administrator to resolve staffing issues.

The role offers a stable schedule from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., competitive hourly pay up to $25, and weekly pay, with opportunities to strengthen operations and teamwork in a 162-bed facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year clerical experience.
• On-the-job training in scheduling provided.
• CNAs preferred but not required.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Able to make independent decisions when needed.
• Able to interact professionally with staff and residents.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word/Excel and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prioritize, and coordinate nursing staff schedules.
• Develop and utilize a master schedule at all times.
• Post schedules 2–4 weeks in advance, minimum.
• Identify staffing problems and communicate with DNS/Administrator.
• Update payroll in ADP daily/weekly.
• Maintain daily staffing sheets and required staff sheets.
• Seek to fill open positions to limit overtime.
• Develop positive relationships within the nursing department.
