Athens Health and Rehab is seeking a Nursing Scheduler / HR Coordinator to join our skilled nursing facility in Athens, PA. This full‑time role supports nursing staff scheduling, attendance, recruitment, onboarding, and HR tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

The position involves creating and maintaining nursing schedules, managing attendance records, and assisting with HR processes from recruitment to onboarding, in collaboration with nursing leadership and administration.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
• Experience in scheduling and HR processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, post, and maintain monthly nursing staff schedules.
• Track schedule changes and approve trades as delegated by DON.
• Maintain records of attendance, call-offs, tardies, absences, and early departures.
• Coordinate with leadership to address staffing needs and vacancies.
• Prepare payroll reports and provide staffing/agency reports to leadership.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and HR documentation.
• Maintain confidential personnel records and support training documentation.
