Job summary

Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Greensburg, PA is seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to assist the Director of Nursing in developing the nursing schedule across all units. The role focuses on communication about scheduling changes, time-off requests, and coordinating coverage with nursing staff.

The ideal candidate will have proven staffing and scheduling experience in a inpatient or long-term care setting, familiarity with Smartlinx, and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• MUST have experience in staffing and scheduling.
• At least 1 year of staffing experience in an in-patient or long-term care setting.
• Prior experience with Smartlinx is preferred.
• Associates degree or equivalent is required.
• Must pass post offer background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing department schedule for all units and shifts on a timely basis.
• Provide daily update of open shift needs and contact staff to fill gaps.
• Input new schedules and adjust existing ones using Smartlinx.
• Find replacement staff to ensure adequate coverage.
• Process timekeeping, staffing reports, and time-off requests promptly.
• Coordinate with Administrative team on other duties as assigned.
• Ensure units/shifts meet minimum staffing budgets and DOH standards.
• Maintain vacation/PTO requests and communicate open positions to leadership.
• Coordinate with outside agencies for staffing and obtain required credentials.
