Job summary

Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a full-time Nursing Scheduler to join our team. The role oversees scheduling to ensure every shift is properly staffed per state requirements, with a 8a-4p Monday to Friday schedule and weekly pay based on experience.

Responsibilities include organizing schedules, maintaining a master timetable, posting ahead of time, and updating payroll in ADP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• CNA preferred but not required.
• Prior scheduling experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• OnShift experience preferred.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when warranted.

• Develop and maintain a master schedule at all times.
• Post staffing schedule 2-4 weeks in advance, minimum.
• Identify staffing problems and communicate solutions to DNS/Administrator.
• Update payroll in ADP for Corporate Bookkeeper daily/weekly.
• Maintain daily staffing sheets and DPH required staff sheet.
• Seek opportunities to fill open positions with minimal overtime.
• Develop positive relationships with nursing department members.

Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is looking for a full-time Nursing Scheduler to join our team!

Marlborough Hills is an 186-bed skilled nursing facility. Mon-Fri 8a-4p schedule with weekly pay ranging from $25 to $28, depending on experience.

The nursing scheduler is responsible for overseeing the scheduling of the department to ensure we are staffed on each shift per state requirements.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• CNA preferred, but not required.
• Prior experience in scheduling preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• OnShift experience preferred.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when warranted.

Duties:

• Organize, prioritize, and coordinate all nursing staff schedules.
• Develop/utilize a master schedule at all times.
• Post staffing schedule 2-4 weeks in advance, minimum.
• Identify staffing problems, take initiative to resolve, communicate to DNS and/or Administrator.
• Update and prepare payroll in ADP for Corporate Bookkeeper on a daily/weekly basis.
• Maintain daily staffing sheets and DPH required staff sheet.
• Seek opportunities to fill open positions in a manner which limits overtime.
• Develop positive relationships with members of the nursing department.
