Job summary

echrshealth is seeking a detail-oriented Nursing Scheduler for our 5-STAR Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care Facility. You will manage staffing and shift coverage for the nursing team to maintain safe, compliant ratios and high-quality patient care.

You will replace call-ins, coordinate time-off requests, and provide backup support to HR; strong communication and multitasking are essential as you report to the Director of Nursing (DON) and may assist other departments as needed.

We are a 5-STAR Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care Facility.

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Nursing Scheduler to manage work schedules and shift coverage for our nursing team. In this role, you will ensure our facility maintains safe, compliant staffing ratios to deliver high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate excels at problem-solving under pressure, balances staff needs with administrative guidelines, and possesses exceptional communication skills. This role reports to the Director of Nursing (DON).

This role is responsible for staffing and scheduling for the Nursing Department for all CENAs, PCENAs, Charge Nurses and other staff as directed. This includes replacing call-ins and coordinating all time off requests. This position provides backup and support to the Human Resources Specialist and must be able to complete timecards in a timely manner every other week. This position may also provide support to other departments as directed. Must be able to multitask and be flexible.
