Job summary

ChristianaCare in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Part Time PI Program Manager to join the Nursing Quality & Safety team. The role leads performance improvement, patient safety, and quality initiatives across the health system using data, Lean Six Sigma, and change management to drive measurable outcomes.

Requirements include nursing education and healthcare quality experience; certifications such as CPHQ, Lean Six Sigma, and PM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate complex performance improvement, patient safety, and quality initiatives across the organization.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, and other performance improvement methodologies to improve outcomes and processes.
• Utilize quality improvement tools (Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone, FMEA, VSM, 5 Whys) to identify opportunities and implement solutions.
• Analyze clinical, operational, and performance data to measure outcomes and support data-driven decisions.
• Design and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and performance metrics.
