Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor in Florida to provide high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students.

The candidate must hold an MSN or higher, have an active RN license in the state, and possess at least 3 years of RN experience with a strong focus on education and student success. Teaching or precepting experience and LMS proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher required.
• Active RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Experience in nursing education or teaching preferred.
• Experience with clinical evaluation and competency-based education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
• Supervise students in clinical settings and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competency per program standards.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain attendance records and document student progress.
• Deliver feedback and guidance to support student learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to ensure program quality.
