Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed a RN program at an accredited school.
• Must possess a current Texas RN Licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and directing day-to-day nursing department functions.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Determine staffing needs and participate in recruitment, hiring and training of nursing staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and review of resident records and care plans.
• Assist with MDS assessments and care plans as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and review corrective action for findings.
• Participate in on-call nursing schedule and other duties as assigned.
