Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beaumont, TX. The ADON will assist the Director of Nurses to ensure quality resident care and oversee day-to-day nursing operations in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.

Required: completion of an RN program, current Texas RN Licensure, and at least 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility; RUG certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an RN program at an accredited school.
• Must possess a current Texas RN Licensure.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility for at least 3 years.
• Preferred: current RUG certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and directing day-to-day nursing department functions.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate with attending physician and medical director regarding resident care issues.
• Communicate with families regarding resident care issues when appropriate.
• Determine staffing needs and participate in recruitment, hiring and training of nursing staff.
• Develop work assignments and schedules; supervise staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and review of resident records and plans of corrections as needed.
• Assist in review of regulatory reports and implementation of corrective actions.
