Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with management of nursing services and daily operations.
• Provide leadership and support to RNs, LPNs, CNAs and the nursing team.
• Ensure residents receive timely, high-quality nursing care.
• Monitor care plans, documentation, and changes in resident condition.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and appropriate coverage.
• Participate in hiring, orientation, and training of nursing staff.
• Ensure adherence to policies and long-term care regulations.
• Lead quality improvement, infection prevention, and safety initiatives.
• Participate in surveys, audits, and regulatory activities.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team; communicate with residents and families.
• Investigate and resolve clinical or resident-care issues; provide hands-on leadership.
• Cover leadership roles in the Director of Nursing's absence.
