Jobot is seeking a Director of Nursing for a long-term care facility in Mediapolis, IA. The role oversees nursing operations and leads the clinical team to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

The position requires RN licensure and nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation, with a salary range of $80,000–$110,000 per year. On-site work with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license or ability to obtain.
• Leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Experience as Director of Nursing or comparable leadership role.
• Strong understanding of long-term care regulations, documentation, and quality standards.
• Experience leading nursing teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clinical and operational priorities.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for nursing services and clinical operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and nursing leadership staff.
• Ensure high-quality, individualized, compassionate resident care.
• Oversee nursing staffing, scheduling, and coverage.
• Monitor resident outcomes, care plans, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and standards.
• Oversee quality assurance, infection prevention, and safety initiatives.
• Prepare the department for regulatory surveys and audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical processes and outcomes.
• Collaborate with MDS team for assessments, care planning, and reimbursement.
• Oversee hiring, orientation, and ongoing development of nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain open communication with residents and families; address concerns.
• Promote teamwork and a culture of accountability and quality care.
