Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for a long-term care facility in Kansas, near Olathe. This role supports the Director of Nursing, oversees nursing services, and promotes a positive environment for residents and staff.

You will lead RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing team members, participate in hiring and training, and ensure compliance with federal and state long-term care regulations. An active RN license is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (IA or KS) or ability to obtain
• Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care
• Previous supervisory or nursing leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of clinical standards and long-term care regulations

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing operations with the Director of Nursing
• Provide leadership and support to RNs, LPNs, CNAs
• Ensure high-quality, timely resident care
• Monitor care plans and clinical documentation
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and coverage
• Participate in hiring, orientation, and staff development
• Promote regulatory compliance and quality improvement
