Care Initiatives is seeking an RN to serve as Assistant Director of Nursing, leading our nursing team across Iowa's skilled nursing communities. This leadership role blends clinical oversight with staff development to ensure high-quality resident care.

You will support the Director of Nursing, conduct rounds, mentor RNs, enforce policies, and maintain regulatory standards while partnering with residents and families to meet care needs.

Formación

• Active RN license in Iowa in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• A passion for compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Desire to learn and grow within a leadership team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department.
• Conduct rounds to monitor care delivery and propose improvements.
• Enforce policies and guide the team toward growth.
• Support and coach RNs to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Manage administrative functions to improve department efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.

Conocimientos
