Job summary

Peaceful Pines Senior Living seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with the DON in delivering compassionate, person-centered care. You will lead daily nursing operations, support care planning, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a respectful, engaging resident experience.

Responsibilities include overseeing staffing, coaching caregivers, managing on-call coverage, and promoting memory care best practices to preserve dignity and joy in daily living.

Qualifications

• RN license active and in good standing.
• Minimum two years in healthcare; memory care preferred.
• Experience in nursing leadership or supervision in assisted living.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations to ensure safe, ethical, high-quality care.
• Conduct resident assessments, service plans, updates, and care conferences.
• Monitor medication administration and physician orders; manage communications.
• Document changes, coordinate with families and the DON.
• Provide on-call support and shift coverage as needed.
• Lead staff coaching, onboarding, and competency development.
• Support regulatory compliance and quality initiatives.
