Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing staff, ensure quality resident care, and maintain regulatory compliance. This leadership role requires dependable, experienced nursing leadership and the ability to multitask in a dynamic long-term care setting.

You will oversee staffing, care planning, MDS involvement, infection control, documentation, and staff development while collaborating with physicians and consultants.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing license in good standing.
• Proven leadership/management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Embraces restorative care with strong assessment and communication skills.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing by assisting floor staffing as needed.
• Manage nursing staff including hiring, training, evaluation, and delegation.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, PI, and infection control programs.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date resident documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and consultants to design individualized care plans.
• Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and care resources.
• Uphold infection control measures and regulatory compliance.
