Southern Oaks Post Acute Murfreesboro SNF Healthcare, LLC is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with the Director of Nursing in guiding licensed and non-licensed staff delivering 24/7 resident care. The ADON will help plan and supervise nursing activities, develop services, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

The role encompasses recruiting, training, performance reviews, and resolving staffing challenges.

Qualifications

Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing with a BSN preferred.
Current RN license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
3–5 years of nurse management experience, preferably in long-term care.
Ability to read, analyze, and write reports, and effectively present information.

Responsibilities

Assist the DON in planning, developing and supervising nursing staff activities.
Assist in developing and implementing nursing services, policies and procedures.
Assist DON with recruitment, hiring and training of nursing staff.
Support DON with employee appraisals and disciplinary actions.
Serve as back-up for DON, RN and LVN staff and provide direct resident care if needed.
Oversee clinical operations, daily rounds, and resident condition monitoring.
