Big Spring Center for Skilled Care is seeking a proactive Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing excellence, support staff, and ensure regulatory compliance in a skilled nursing environment. The role demands dependable leadership and strong clinical judgment.

You will oversee staffing, MDS, care planning, infection control, documentation, and collaboration with physicians to design individualized plans. This position offers growth, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Proven leadership and management experience in a clinical setting.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsabilités

• Support staffing needs and cover floor staffing when required.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, PI, and infection control.
• Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties according to census and budget.
• Ensure up-to-date documentation of resident records.
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Ensure access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Lead infection control assessments and program implementation.
