Regis College invites applications for an Adjunct Lab Nursing Instructor at the Regis College Campus in Weston, MA. You will develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based activities within the Clinical Resource and Simulation Center Lab under the Director's guidance.

The role supports the Associate of Science in Nursing Program across four lab-intensive courses (NU 101, NU 102, NU 201, NU 202) with responsibilities spanning simulation facilitation, curriculum contributions, and student

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing with 2 years clinical nursing experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Previous clinical instructor experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Effective time management and organization skills.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about working with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
• Able to work in team settings with instructional course teams.

Responsibilities

• Participates in simulation activities as primary instructor and demonstrates nursing skills and techniques to students.
• Uses information technologies to support the teaching-learning process, including high-fidelity simulators.
• Facilitation of learning experiences.
• Knowledge of and participation in developing the nursing Lab curriculum.
• Evaluation of students’ skills/simulations performance and ability to meet competencies of the program based on course objectives and program outcomes.
• Identifies and supports the needs of the students to provide a quality learning experience.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Weekend and evening hours may be required.
