Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing required and current clinical expertise to teach.
• Current RN license to practice nursing in Texas.
• American Heart Association BLS certification (current).
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain simulation environments with attention to detail.
• Set-up, reset, and manage simulation and testing environments.
• Orient faculty, staff and students to simulation equipment.
• Support learning activities to improve competencies and meet course objectives.
• Assist students and faculty with use of simulators and AV equipment.
• Maintain inventory and restock supplies for learning labs.
• Support development of Center of Clinical Excellence processes and policies.
