Job summary

Roxbury Community College is seeking a part-time Nursing Lab Simulation Instructor for the Nursing Department. The position requires an active MA RN license, BSN or MSN (or enrolled in MSN), and experience with simulation or online learning.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN in nursing or enrolled in MSN program with graduation within 5 years
• Related non-nursing graduate degree required
• Current Nurse education certification by a recognized body
• Current, active, unencumbered RN license in MA
• Preferred five years of inpatient nursing experience
• Equivalency may be considered with appropriate education/experience
• Experience with simulation, urban multicultural higher education, and online learning

Responsibilities

• Guide nursing students through hands-on practice in simulation labs, providing real-time feedback and debriefing
• Design and implement realistic simulation scenarios aligned with curriculum
• Evaluate student performance and facilitate post-scenario discussions
• Maintain simulation equipment, inventory, and lab safety
• Track student competencies and coordinate with faculty and clinical sites
• Collaborate with faculty and professional teams to update simulations and training
