Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree, required, earned doctoral degree, preferred.
• Registered Nurse in Massachusetts with a Master’s Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Manage classes and learning environments, maintain attendance and submit grades on time.
• Create and maintain accurate syllabi that incorporate department, program, and college requirements.
• Participate in selecting materials to support course curriculum per guidelines.
• Deliver instruction punctually and in accordance with schedule.
• Collaborate with instructional design for course development issues.
• Assume primary responsibility for curriculum rigor and quality of instruction.
• Design learning activities considering individual student differences.
• Use technology appropriately and set clear expectations for its use.
• Assess student learning using varied methods aligned with disciplines.
• Integrate real-life scenarios to foster critical thinking and teamwork.
