Job summary

Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams is hiring a Nursing Simulation/Skills Lab Coordinator to lead the BSN program's simulation and nursing skills labs, ensuring operation, troubleshooting, and alignment with curriculum outcomes. Requirements include a current Massachusetts RN license, at least a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), and clinical experience.

Responsibilities cover scheduling events, preparing and maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and supporting student

Qualifications

• Hold a current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Minimum of a bachelor\'s degree, master\'s degree preferred.
• Clinical experience in a specialty field; knowledge and experience in baccalaureate education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling, planning, and running simulation and nursing skills events.
• Preparation, cleaning, and storage of all simulation and skills lab equipment and technology before, during, and after student learning events.
• Maintaining simulation and skills lab inventory and recommend purchasing to Associate Dean of Nursing.
• If Simulation Coordinator possesses a master\'s degree, teaching laboratory courses may be expected.
• Create an educational environment which fosters innovation, responsiveness, and accountability in the lab and clinical environment.
• Provide program-specific expertise and is actively engaged in relevant department initiatives.
• Serve as a professional role model for students in the lab and clinical environment.
