Job summary

Jersey College in Scranton, PA, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Instructor with an MSN or higher to deliver pharmacology instruction to LPN/PN and RN students. The role includes classroom, clinical, and simulated learning experiences, with evaluation of student performance and ongoing feedback.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication, and a commitment to student success within a collaborative teaching environment.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy, objectives, policies, and established standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely student progress reports and grade reports.
• Attend faculty meetings, training sessions, and other required academic or campus meetings.
