Job summary

Volunteer State Community College in Springfield, TN seeks an Instructor of Nursing for a 9/10 month term to deliver quality instruction across in-person, online, and hybrid formats. The role includes evaluating student outcomes, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in college service and accreditation activities.

The position requires a Master of Science in Nursing (or BSN with MSN enrollment), TN RN licensure, CPR certification, and relevant nursing practice experience.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing from a regionally accredited college with 18 graduate hours in nursing or a BSN with active enrollment in an MSN program.
• Active Tennessee RN licensure, CPR for healthcare professionals, and nursing practice specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in multiple formats (in-person, online, hybrid).
• Maintain a student-centered learning environment and assess learning outcomes.
• Contribute to program and curriculum development and accreditation efforts as applicable.
• Attend to administrative duties and maintain course records and reports.
• Support recruitment and retention efforts and participate in college-service activities.
