Job summary

Motlow State Community College in Tennessee is seeking a Nursing Instructor - Faculty to provide high quality instruction in nursing courses, develop syllabi, and guide students toward successful outcomes.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing and an unrestricted Tennessee RN license; preferred candidates have online, hybrid, and campus teaching experience and a background in clinical nursing.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Nursing and an unencumbered TN RN license.
• Experience teaching online, hybrid, and on-ground formats preferred.
• Previous community college teaching experience preferred.
• Nursing practice experience in various settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned in accordance with the catalog description and syllabus.
• Maintain professional competency by staying current in the field and supporting professional development.
• Advise students on academic and career goals and assist with course registration.
• Maintain office hours for student advisement and meetings.
